NATIONAL THROMBOSIS WEEK

In May we invite you to join our annual awareness week dedicated 

to raising awareness, increasing education and extending 

understanding of thrombosis.

EVERYONE CAN BE PART OF NATIONAL THROMBOSIS WEEK

There are many ways to become involved but we really do need your help to   raise awareness during NTW.

Join to  extend education.

Ideas:

  • Tell people it’s National Thrombosis Week!
  • Request an awareness pack (full info below).
  • Share awareness cards with friends, colleagues and in local centres to help everyone become more aware of thrombosis.
  • Put up a poster in your workplace.
  • Share your blood clot story, with Thrombosis UK and via media and social media.
  • Consider holding a fundraising activity for Thrombosis UK during National Thrombosis Week.

Your actions could help protect others and alert them to signs and symptoms.

In 2025 our flagship virtual conference NTW’25 vc will be inviting everyone to join Education For All – four days of online educational meetings and webinars for healthcare professionals and patients, carers and all interested individuals.

  • Indicate pack size required:
  • – 10 cards & a poster
  • – 100 cards and 5 posters
  • – 1000 cards and 10 posters 
  • Include the NAME of the person receiving the pack.
  • Provide the FULL postal address, including ward/department/room numbers if to a hospital.
  • Pack requests must be received by 10th April 2025.
