RESEARCH GRANTS
Thrombosis UK is an NIHR RDN Non-commercial partner.
What does NIHR RDN Non-commercial Partner mean?
This means the studies that we fund may be eligible to access the NIHR Study Support Service which is provided by the NIHR Research Delivery Network within the NHS, and the wider public health and social care environment, across England
NIHR RDN Non-commercial Partners are UK-based organisations that:
- Award research funds as a result of open competition across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland with high-quality peer review.
- Fund research that is of clear value to the NHS, social care or public health.
- Take appropriate account of the priorities, needs and realities of the NHS, social care or public health in making decisions about the research that they fund.
We include patient, medical professionals and lay supporters on our research grant committee to review all applications.
Our grants are limited and those seeking less than the maximum level are welcomed.
