Step 1 - coffee, cake & chair

In the distant past regular trips to the gym, exercise classes and short jogs were part of my regular routine, but four children, work, wine and will power had long ago changed that! My life style needed to change, but what would be the inspiration? I had plenty of excuses.... but needed to take that first step.

Just take a step - a first step, to moving and already I am starting to combat the risks of blood clots associated with immobility and sedentary life style (ME!)

Step 2 - I’m still here!

I’ve seen a king fisher.
Been joined by family members.
Had uninterrupted chats.
Enroute kicked a football with my son.
Crunched through crisp yellow leaves.
Predicted weather by shades of the evening sky!
And….Set my first goal.
