TUK Trustee raised £2,500 riding two cycling events in May and July 2016

Dulux London Revolution - May, the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 mile sportive - July

Keen cyclist and TUK trustee, Simon Hart, took part in the Dulux London Revolution cycling challenge in May, riding 185 miles through and around London over 2 days, followed in July by the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 mile sportive. Simon fundraised jointly for TUK and Royal British Legion.

Asked what inspired him to ride Simon replied "The continuing work Thrombosis UK undertakes is fantastic and I thought the time was right for me to do more than just be a Trustee for the charity, but to raise some much needed funds to support its work.

The continuing work Thrombosis UK undertakes is fantastic

I have been cycling now for some 3 years and not only is it a superb way to get fitter, it's a great way to undertake challenges like these and raise funds for worthy causes."

Would Simon do this again? "You bet! It would be great if we can get more people cycling for TUK, and in future wearing TUK colours".
