Fundraising in memory of Rachel

Hi, my name is Bex and I am raising money for Thrombosis UK in aid of my best friend, who unfortunately passed away on the 5th of June 2020 due to a pulmonary embolism.

Due to the situation we were in at the times with Covid, Rachel was feeling unwell and really out of breath, but not being able to see a doctor face to face and scared to go to the hospital in fear of catching Covid, when she managed to get an appointment over the phone with a GP they explained it sounded like her anxiety and depression was getting worse and to take time off work to relax.

Unfortunately, that was not the case and in fact Rachel had a pulmonary embolism (PE), or ‘blood clot’. on the lung which tragically caused her passing.

This lady absolutely loved her car, her car was her pride and joy, so we are using our car group to raise money and then donate it to Thrombosis UK.

If you can, please donate to help raise awareness of blood clots. They are devastating, including for those who are left behind x
