Support Our Work

Help Us Save Lives by Raising Awareness of Blood Clots

Every day, people across the UK are affected by blood clots — often suddenly, often without warning. Thrombosis UK exists to improve awareness, support those living with thrombosis, and ensure that everyone at risk has access to clear, trusted information.

Your support helps us continue this vital work.

Why Your Support Matters

Blood clots are common, serious and often preventable. Yet too many people still don’t know the signs, risk factors or when to seek help.

With your support, we can:

Ways You Can Support Us

Whether you donate, fundraise, volunteer, share your story or partner with us — every action helps save lives.

1. Make a Donation

Every donation — large or small — helps us continue providing support and awareness resources free of charge.

  • One-off gift: Help us reach more communities with life-saving information
  • Monthly donation: Provide stable support that we can rely on

2. Fundraise for Us

From sponsored walks to bake sales, workplace challenges to birthday fundraisers — every event helps raise awareness alongside vital funds.

We can provide:

You can:

Volunteers are at the heart of our mission — and we’d love to welcome you.

4. Share Your Story

Lived experience is powerful. By sharing your story, you help others feel less alone and raise awareness of the signs and risks of thrombosis.

Stories may be used on our website, social media, or awareness campaigns (with your consent).

5. Partner With Us

We work with workplaces, universities, hospitals and community groups to raise awareness and reduce risk.

Partnerships can include:

🌍 Help Us Prepare for World Thrombosis Day

Each October, we coordinate nationwide awareness events across hospitals and communities. Your support helps us reach more people than ever with life-saving messages.

Every Action Helps

Whether you donate, volunteer, share your story or simply tell someone about the signs of a blood clot — you are helping save lives.

If you’d like to get involved or discuss ideas, we’d love to hear from you:

Thank you for supporting Thrombosis UK.
